Timothy D. Ball (TDB) has 36 years experience designing and developing software for Personal Computer (PC) Graphical User Interface (GUI) and Console applications as well as for Embedded Systems. The PC applications employ Visual C++, C#, C, pure Win32, Python, Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Pascal, and assembly languages. The Embedded Systems employ C/C++/C#, Ada, and assembly languages. This software is implemented in aircraft navigation, collision warning, and terrain warning systems, aircraft flight simulation mapping and verification systems, flight simulator systems, military defense systems, gas turbine and piston engine control systems, automotive assembly systems, truck systems, electrical power control systems, optical fiber manufacturing systems, weather detection systems, international currency counterfeit/denomination detection systems, Stepper, DC, AC, and AC Servo motor control systems, remote identification systems, etcetera. I also have experience creating Internet Web sites using HTML (HyperText Markup Language), JavaScript, and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).

I have been consulting (as TDB Consulting) for 29 years for companies that produce products for the aviation, oil and gas, and automotive and truck industries as well as products for the military and consumers. Before this, I worked for over 6 years for a major avionics company as the Systems Engineer in charge of the Database Department. This department was responsible for all aeronautical information used in every navigational and collision warning system produced by the company and was responsible for all Database Storage Systems that interface with other manufacturer's avionics products. This includes specifying, designing, developing, and certifying these systems that provide the information to the pilot's navigation system as well as specifying and developing Data Cards/Cartridges that contain aeronautical information in a highly compressed format for use in aircraft systems.

If you should have a need for my services, please do not hesitate to email me at TDBConsulting@aol.com
